It's been a long time since i've been active here... a long time since i uploaded anything.  I've been making art, i just haven't been finishing a lot, and i haven't felt like what i've made has been worth uploading.  Trying to change that..I have several things in the works that i am enjoying.  Uploaded a little watercolor dragon today. These last couple months have been rough.  My daughter turned one in June, but we spent that time in the hospital (where we had her 1 year prior) because my husband fell 15 feet and broke his back.  He had to have 5 vertebrae fused together, and is still recovering.. he will have to wear a turtle-shell like

This isn't related to this site at all.. i just stumbled across this in my Etsy wanderings and wondered how this could even be legal.  https://www.etsy.com/shop/CraftyDesignNBargain?ref=pr_shop_more I don't know enough about copyright law.. but it looks to me like this is quite simply someone selling (lots and lots of) other people's art for a profit.  Perhaps it is the media that makes it legal?  I think it's art printed onto iron on transfers or quilt blocks.  Ugh. Distasteful at the least, imho. Perhaps someone out there has a better understanding of how this person can do this legally, and might educate me?

Hey, it's been a few months since i've updated here.. I just wanted to say thank you to those who have favorited and commented on my art while i was away.  I really appreciate it.  Since i'm months behind, i don't have time to catch up and thank each person individually, though i usually do my best to do so. I am actually working on art again.. though it will be awhile before i post anything here.  I will scan the drawing when it's complete, and then it will be some more weeks before i can finish painting it, i'm sure.
